MW Butterfly Squat to Plank

MW Buttefly Squat to Plank is the combination of two exercises. The first one (Butterfly Squat) is a great exercise for the upper back muscles activation. The second one (elbows to hands plank), is a chalisthenic exercise for the core muscles engagement.

CAUTION: If you’re unsure of your health status, have multiple health problems, previous injuries or are pregnant, speak with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.

Exercise Tips

  • Keep a correct squat position with open chest and neutral lumbar spine at the start position;
  • Keep hands over the shoulders in the hands-plank position before switching to elbows-plank;
  • Maintain a neutral lumbar spine during both plank positions;
